For me, making art is my way to take time out and get away from the noise and busyness of every day. The whole art process, from seeing to expressing my subjects is a time when I am mindfully engaged. I am looking closely and studying the details and the beauty in nature. It is my hope to share this beauty with others so they will pay more attention to the magic within and around them.

As an artist…

My art has always been inspired by the colors, shapes and details of nature. I first started painting when I lived in Brazil where I was inspired by the vibrancy around me. My first art show sold out. Twice. My paintings have been exhibited and collected in the US, Asia, South America and Europe. In addition to being a painter myself, I also teach painting and am a transformational life coach. The common thread in each of the areas I have worked with is my creative approach to problem solving  both on and off the canvas.

As a Teacher/Coach/Mentor

After years of making my own art, I was invited to teach at the Silvermine School of Art in New Canaan, CT.  I loved teaching from my very first class. My unorthodox approach to teaching was transformative for many of my students. This signature approach to teaching art enables my students to connect to their unique creativity regardless of any past art experience.

In addition to supporting individual students to explore and enrich their expression in their artwork, I have worked with my students using their newly found creative confidence to risk new and innovative approaches to create their lives beyond the canvas.

I do this as a certified life coach.  Whether a client is interested in art, business, playing music, writing books or making products or any other profession,  I developed a 4 C’s signature approach which enables my clients the achieve the results they want in their lives.
